The button on the base will glow red while charging and turn off once the charging cycle is complete. A full charge takes around 6 hours. The lamp should be removed from the charging cradle when the battery is fully charged. The versions with a metal leaf finish are handmade and protected by a clear varnish. We recommend cleaning using only a soft, dry cloth. The use of aggressive cleaning agents or abrasive cloths, or any accidental knocks, may damage the delicate leaf finish.
